To welcome back members old and new after our summer recess, our opening meeting of the autumn, we have an acrylic demonstration by Nigel Overton.
Nigel has an extensive background in the Arts, including a BA in Fine Art Painting and Drawing and was formerly the Head of Art & Design at Benton Park School in Rawdon, Leeds.
Since leaving college, Nigel has continued to develop his passion for Landscape and Seascape painting and now paints professionally from his studio based in Ilkley.
He has worked with a wide range of different media and techniques but has always maintained his belief in the importance of drawing both within his own work and his teaching of Art and Design.
